During the verification process, the CDA identified unauthorized structures and occupation on acquired state land. The Authority said legal action would be taken against those involved in unauthorized construction, occupation, or commercial use of the land.
Allotment letters have been issued to genuine affectees after verification of claims and completion of required legal formalities. This process has helped to resolve longstanding issues affecting the development of Sector E-12.
Sector E-12 was launched in 1989 but remains incomplete after 37 years. The CDA’s clearance of the land is expected to significantly speed up the development of this sector, bringing it closer to completion.
