ICCI-PBF France & Europe joined forces to expand trade and investment opportunities for Pakistan, according to a recent development. A press release issued on Wednesday confirmed that Pakistan's tourism potential presents opportunities for European investors.
Mohammad Zikria Akbar Zia addressed a delegation of twelve members from the Pakistan Business Forum France & Europe. During the address, Mohammad Zikria Akbar Zia called for stronger Pakistan-France business partnerships across several high-value sectors.
These desired sectors include tourism, sustainable infrastructure, luxury brands, fragrances, and cosmetics. The potential for sustainable tourism development exists in Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan, and other scenic areas.
Pakistan stands to gain from French and European expertise in areas such as natural-resource management, conservation, and hospitality development. Joint ventures between French and Pakistani companies could help develop tourist spots, draw European visitors, create jobs, and generate investment while safeguarding the environment.
Dr Hamza Taj highlighted the broad scope of potential for cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism between Pakistan and France.
