PSW integrates with PakID Mobile App for remote biometric verification
PSW users can now complete their biometric verification remotely through the PakID Mobile App, making the process more convenient for overseas Pakistanis.

Key Takeaways

  • PSW has integrated with NADRA’s PakID Mobile App for remote biometric verification.
  • Users can now complete verification for PSW subscription, renewal, and profile updates through their smartphones.
  • The integration aims to provide convenience for overseas Pakistanis engaged in trade-related activities.

The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated with the National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) PakID Mobile App, allowing users to complete the mandatory verification process remotely through their smartphones.

Previously, users had to physically visit NADRA e-Sahulat Centres to complete biometric verification, but now, with the PakID integration, this process can be done from anywhere.

The facility is particularly beneficial for overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities, as it eliminates the need for physical visits to Pakistan.

To ensure a smooth transition, both verification channels will remain operational during an interim period, allowing users to choose between digital verification via the PakID Mobile App or visiting NADRA e-Sahulat Centres.

The integration reflects PSW’s commitment to making its services more accessible and user-driven, as stated by Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW, who said, 'By enabling remote biometric verification, we are removing another physical trip in the on-boarding process and making the PSW user journey more convenient, accessible, and user driven.'

The facility offers a seamless digital experience for PSW subscription and updates, reflecting the organization’s continued focus on digital solutions.

Haider further noted, 'The integration with NADRA’s PakID Mobile App reflects our commitment to listening to the PSW community both in Pakistan and overseas and responding to their needs.'

This move is part of PSW’s broader strategy to make its services more accessible and responsive to the needs of businesses and Pakistanis engaged in trade from abroad.
