Key Takeaways

  • Pakistan’s missions in the UAE have launched land record services for overseas Pakistanis.
  • The initiative aims to facilitate property-related services for expatriates without the need to travel to Pakistan.
  • More than 1.5 million Pakistani expatriates in the UAE benefit from this new facility.

Pakistan’s missions in the United Arab Emirates have introduced a new service to assist Pakistani expatriates in managing land records and property-related matters without the need to travel back to Pakistan.

The Pakistani embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate general in Dubai have started issuing fards, or land ownership records, under this initiative, confirming its operational status.

Over 1.5 million Pakistani expatriates in the UAE send over $5 billion in annual remittances, making this service particularly beneficial for them.

The new service provides convenient, transparent, and efficient access to essential land-record and property services, as stated by the Pakistani embassy.

Pakistani nationals in the UAE can contact the 24/7 helplines of the embassy and consulate for more information or visit the missions during office hours.

This development follows Islamabad’s earlier launch of digital land record and passport services for Pakistanis in the United Kingdom in August 2025.

The move is part of the broader push for digital public services and aims to bring government facilities closer to overseas Pakistanis.

The Pakistani embassy emphasized that the initiative supports the wider push for digital public services and enhances the convenience for expatriates.
