Sindh Police has announced the recruitment of 139 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) positions under the Special Quota for the BPS-11 grade. The vacancies are reserved for the legal heirs of Sindh Police employees who have passed away or become permanently incapacitated.

The recruitment process was halted following a Supreme Court judgment but has now resumed under the relevant government notification. The latest recruitment notice is an addendum to the advertisements published on April 28, 2024.

Interested applicants must be between 21 and 28 years old and must have completed graduation with at least a Second Division from a recognized university. No relaxation in the qualification or age limits will be offered.

The application fee is Rs. 1,500 and must be submitted online through the official portal, apply.sts.net.pk. The application deadline is October 15, 2026.

Legal heirs of deceased or permanently incapacitated police employees can apply if the employee died or became incapacitated on or before September 26, 2024. The applicant must hold the domicile of the relevant Sindh Police range.

For the Shaheed category, applicants must have been martyred by the closing date of the advertisement. The department will prioritize the Shaheed category, followed by the Deceased and Permanently Incapacitated categories.

The physical standards for male candidates require a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches and a chest measurement of at least 33 inches with an expansion of 1.5 inches. Female candidates must be at least 5 feet tall and in sound health.

Male candidates must complete a 1,600-metre run within eight minutes, while female candidates must complete an 800-metre walk within 14 minutes. Only those who pass the physical test will be considered.

Sindh Police will consider all claims under the Recruitment Rules, 2021, and will fill the reserved posts accordingly.
