Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat announced the Matriculation (SSC) results of all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab on Tuesday.

The minister highlighted several reforms aimed at rewarding merit and modernizing the examination system, including increased cash awards and the distribution of laptops to top performers.

Cash awards for position holders were significantly raised from Rs20,000 to Rs100,000 per student, a substantial increase designed to motivate academic excellence.

In addition to monetary incentives, the minister distributed laptops among high-performing students, emphasizing the government's commitment to providing technological resources to support education.

Result cards are now available online, with private school students able to download verified copies through their institutions’ portals. This move aims to enhance transparency and accessibility of examination results.

To further aid students, an AI-powered chatbot has been launched to answer queries instantly, ensuring prompt assistance for any doubts or concerns.

The minister also announced plans for full screen marking next year, alongside a QR code-based rechecking system, indicating ongoing efforts to improve the integrity and reliability of examinations.

In a statement, Rana Sikandar Hayat claimed that 95 percent of the examination cheating mafia had been eliminated this year, reflecting significant progress in combating academic dishonesty.
