The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns in various parts of Pakistan on Wednesday. The outages are aimed at facilitating routine maintenance and development work, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the power supply system.

In the Islamabad Circle, electricity will be suspended from 5:00 am to 11:00 am for areas served by the Taramari feeder, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas connected to the Pir Sohawa feeder. The Rawalpindi City Circle will experience outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas served by the EME Complex, Jhangi, P&T Wani, Azharabad, and CWO feeders.

In Attock, power supply will be suspended from 5:00 am to 11:00 am for areas connected to the Bahtar More, P. Small Industrial, Kohistan Enclave, Kashif Gull, Model Town, and Mix Industry feeders. Additionally, outages in the Attock Circle will occur from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas served by the Katchery, Dar ul Islam Colony, Attock Cantt, and Dhoke Fateh feeders.

The Jhelum Circle is also set for power outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas connected to the Chapper Sharif, City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal, Jakkar, and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders. Meanwhile, in the GSO Circle, electricity supply will be suspended from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani-Burhan lines, while outages from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm will affect the 132kV Kahuta City-Palandri and 132kV New Wah-Bahtermore lines, along with related earth switch areas.

IESCO has apologized for any inconvenience caused by these scheduled outages. The company stated that electricity supply would be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier than expected. This measure aims to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted power supply in the long term.

The announcement comes as part of IESCO's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the power infrastructure across Pakistan, particularly in areas where routine maintenance is required. The company encourages residents and businesses in affected areas to plan their activities accordingly and stay informed about any changes or updates.
