The Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) has announced a five-day electricity shutdown schedule for parts of its service area, starting from July 15 and ending on July 29. The company will suspend power supply from the Kuluwal and Down Stream feeders between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm each day during this period.

The company stated that this planned maintenance is crucial for ensuring reliable and efficient electricity supply in Gujranwala. 'We are committed to providing uninterrupted power services, but these temporary shutdowns are essential,' said an official from GEPCO who requested anonymity.

Consumers have been advised to stock up on necessary items such as water, food, and other essentials during the shutdown period. The company also recommended that businesses prepare alternative arrangements for their operations to avoid any disruptions in their daily activities.
