Mobile medical camps will be set up to conduct thorough examinations of drivers, checking their eyesight, colour blindness, medical fitness, and psychological health.

CTO Lahore directed transporters to install cameras in their vehicles to prevent overspeeding, while also stressing the importance of active back lights and reflectors at night.

Tractor trolleys carrying sand and soil will be required to be covered with tarpaulin, with cases registered against violators. Joint teams will be formed to take action against smoke-emitting vehicles.

Strict compliance was directed on the fixed entry times and restrictions for freight vehicles in Lahore, ensuring better traffic management and air quality.

The transporters’ delegation included Tanveer Ahmad Jatt, Malik Masood, Salman Gujjar, Muhammad Kamran Khan, Muhammad Aamir, Muhammad Pervaiz, and Muhammad Anwar Chaudhry, among others.
