Pakistan’s batting lineup, despite a poor start, managed to stabilize with contributions from Saim Ayub and Babar Azam. Babar’s 34 runs, including four boundaries, helped in rebuilding the innings.

The key partnership came between Hasan Nawaz and Saad Baig, who added 51 runs, helping Pakistan reach 133-3. Nawaz and Minhas then combined to add 78 runs, taking the total to 283-7 after 48 overs.

England’s captain Harry Brook was dismissed for five runs, while Joe Root and Sam Curran attempted to revive the chase but were eventually bowled out for 165-4.

Pakistan’s bowlers, particularly Arafat Minhas and Naseem Shah, were instrumental in restricting England to 215 in 38.4 overs. Minhas’ six wickets and Naseem’s dismissal of Root for 33 were crucial.

England’s leading wicket-taker was Sonny Baker, who claimed three wickets, while Arafat Minhas and Adil Rashid also picked up two wickets each.

Pakistan’s total of 302-9 was enough to secure the victory, with Arafat Minhas and Faheem Ashraf contributing valuable innings.
