The 3rd Chitral Expo 2026, organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Chitral Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI), opened its doors today at Pamir Riverside Inn Hotel in Chitral.

Col. Arsalan, Commandant Chitral Scouts, inaugurated the two-day exhibition, which was attended by representatives from the business community, government departments, banks, and NGOs.

In his speech, Col. Arsalan highlighted the potential of Chitral in tourism, handicrafts, agriculture, and other sectors, emphasizing the need to promote local businesses and create new trade opportunities.

Noman Bashir, Director of TDAP Peshawar, and Fahad Azam, President of CCCI, also spoke, underscoring the importance of facilitating market access and strengthening public-private partnerships.

A total of 70 stalls, including 10 food stalls, were arranged to showcase diverse local and regional products, including handicrafts and food items.

The expo attracted exhibitors from Lower and Upper Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, and Faisalabad, reflecting a collective commitment to promoting Chitral’s economic development.

In addition to the exhibition, Col. Arsalan also inaugurated the TDAP Help Desk at the Chitral Chamber of Commerce & Industry, aimed at facilitating local businesses, entrepreneurs, and exporters in accessing TDAP’s services.

The 3rd Chitral Expo 2026 will continue on October 11, providing further opportunities for business networking, product promotion, and collaboration among stakeholders.

The event is expected to strengthen the local economy by promoting local businesses and creating new trade and investment opportunities.
