Miral Sharif, Country Head of Yango Pakistan, emphasized the importance of partnership in the company’s ecosystem. 'Partnership is at the core of Yango’s ecosystem — across our services, we work with local companies to create solutions that help them grow while bringing more value to their customers. Pay Later extends this approach into fintech, which we see as an important enabler of business growth,' she stated.

Ali Hussain, Head of Sales at Yango Fintech in Pakistan, highlighted the importance of Sharia principles in the service's design. 'Pay Later gives merchants an additional way to make purchases more accessible to customers and support conversion at checkout. We designed the product for the Pakistani market, with Sharia principles incorporated into its structure from the outset,' he explained.

The launch of Pay Later marks Yango Pakistan’s first fintech offering in the country and is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its local digital ecosystem. Since entering the Pakistani market in 2023, Yango Group has introduced several services, including ride-hailing, delivery and cargo, ads, transport, and B2B services.

Dr. Muhammad Imran Ashraf Usmani of Usmani & Co. Shariah Advisors (Pvt.) Ltd. has confirmed that the Pay Later service’s structure and operating principles comply with Sharia requirements. This ensures that the service is in line with Islamic financial principles.

Yango Pakistan plans to grow the network to more than 100 largest online retailers in fashion, beauty, home goods, and electronics by the end of the year. Throughout the pilot, the service’s team will work closely with merchants and customers to refine the solution and evaluate its impact before expanding further.
