The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced that its facilitation vans will be available at various locations across the federal capital from July 20 to 26. This move is part of an ongoing effort by ITP to provide convenient services directly to citizens and residents.

According to a statement released by ITP, the facilitation vans will offer a range of licensing and citizen services, including vehicle registration, driving license renewals, and other related matters. The initiative aims to reduce the inconvenience faced by people who need to visit official offices for these services.

ITP spokesperson, Mr. Ahsan Khan, stated that the vans would be stationed at key locations in Islamabad during the specified period. He added, 'We have identified several strategic points where citizens can access these services without having to travel long distances.'

The facilitation vans will operate from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, ensuring that they are available for as many people as possible throughout the week. Mr. Khan further emphasized that the initiative is part of ITP's commitment to enhancing public service delivery.

Citizens and residents have welcomed the move, with many expressing relief at having access to essential services without the need for long queues or travel. A local resident, Mrs. Nida Ali, said, 'This is a great convenience as it saves us time and effort.'

The ITP has also assured that necessary security measures will be in place to ensure the safety of both citizens and staff during these operations. Mr. Khan added, 'We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure smooth and safe functioning of our facilitation vans.'

This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the ITP to improve service delivery and enhance public satisfaction. The success of previous similar initiatives has encouraged the department to continue such efforts.

ITP officials are hopeful that this move will not only provide convenience but also reduce congestion in Islamabad's central areas, where many people currently queue for these services.
