The closure of the RMK Road due to ongoing repair work has led to an increase in traffic on the Murree Expressway. To manage this situation, authorities have deployed additional staff and placed the city on high alert. The City Traffic Police Murree have advised tourists and citizens to use alternative routes and follow traffic wardens’ instructions.

In light of the increased vehicular flow, authorities have urged motorists to maintain lane discipline and contact the traffic control room at 051-9269200 in case of any travel disruption. The City Traffic Police Murree has also advised against unnecessary travel during this period.

The RMK Road project is a key component of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s broader development plan for the region, which aims to improve infrastructure and support local economic growth. By ensuring its timely completion, the government hopes to provide much-needed relief to residents and tourists alike.
