In addition to the Multan-Muzaffargarh-Mianwali project, the NHA is also tasked with preparing a feasibility study for a 123-kilometer road project between Mansehra and Naran, which could become significant for both tourism and trade with China.
Khan further directed the NHA to proceed with international tendering for the Guru Nanak Expressway, highlighting its religious importance for the Sikh community and calling for international investment.
He instructed the NHA to provide rest areas and washrooms on both sides of new highways and to make newly completed projects safe and visually appealing.
