The CDA has identified 124 structures between Soan and Khanna Pull for demolition, with demolition work already underway. The remaining structures are being monitored for rectification of violations and regularization of legal requirements.

The authority has stated that sealed premises will remain closed until violations are rectified and all legal and regularization requirements are completed with approval from the competent authority.

The operation is expected to recover around Rs. 3 billion in land-conversion charges and penalties linked to unauthorized construction, setback violations, floor area ratio breaches, and covered-area violations.

The CDA has emphasized the importance of adhering to building control regulations and ensuring the safety and integrity of the Islamabad Expressway East.

Local residents and businesses along the expressway are being informed about the operation and are encouraged to cooperate with the CDA to ensure the smooth progress of the clearance process.
