Isolated hailstorms were also likely, according to the PMD's forecast.

In its October 12 forecast, the PMD predicted partly cloudy weather in the upper parts of the country and dry conditions elsewhere.

The PMD forecasted rain and thunderstorms at isolated places, including Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Buner.

The department also predicted isolated hailstorms in the province.

Shahrah-e-Mansehra was temporarily closed to all traffic from Zero Point Gilgit, in addition to Babusar Top Road.

The closures are expected to be temporary, with traffic resuming once the weather conditions improve.
