During the visit, Abbasi reviewed expansion work on platforms 2 and 4, expressing displeasure over the quality of benches installed on platform 4. He directed officials to remove them and provide better-quality seating.

The minister also instructed officials to relocate the divisional superintendent’s office to Lahore Railway Station to improve oversight of passenger services. He said moving the office would allow closer monitoring of facilities, ongoing development projects, and staff performance at the station.

Abbasi inspected the family and executive lounges, reviewing air conditioning and other amenities available to travelers. Passengers thanked him for the facilities provided in the air-conditioned halls.
