The Lahore Police have moved a request to federal authorities to place the names of three prime suspects on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL). These suspects are alleged to have gang-raped a 20-year-old foreign woman, identified as Diana from Azerbaijan, in a rented flat in a private housing society near Raiwind.

The incident occurred on the night between Friday and Saturday, and it is the second such case in the Defence C police station area during the last four months. The victim had traveled to Pakistan for business purposes.

A police official stated that the suspects had escaped from Lahore soon after the sexual assault. The police have traced one of the suspects to Sialkot city and have taken two close relatives and one domestic servant of one of the prime suspects into custody.

DIG Operations, Faisal Kamran, said that all three suspects had been identified and that police teams were working to track them down and arrest them. The case is being investigated jointly by the Crime Control Department (CCD), operations, and investigation wings.

The police have also taken the vehicle allegedly used in the incident into custody. Cantt Division SP Investigation, Asim Iftikhar, is heading the joint police teams working on the case.

The incident has raised concerns among local authorities and the public, with the police emphasizing the need to apprehend the suspects as soon as possible. The victim's family has expressed their distress and support for the police's efforts.

The police are urging the public to provide any information that could help in the arrest of the suspects. They have also appealed for the cooperation of the community in identifying and apprehending the suspects.
