Dadu Temperature Record
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has announced a new maximum temperature record in Sindh’s Dadu, with readings of 51.5°C.
Last week, the PMD forecast hot to very hot weather across the country during Eidul Azha, with temperatures expected to remain 5°C to 7°C above normal levels.
Forecast and Implications
The PMD has added that Larkana and Jacobabad followed closely behind with readings of 50.5°C.
According to the PMD, maximum temperatures are likely to remain 4-6°C above normal in certain districts and may rise to 47-50°C elsewhere.
