  • The international gold rate declined by $6 to $4,398 per ounce.
  • Silver prices also saw a slight decrease today.

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant drop on Thursday, decreasing by Rs600 per tola to reach Rs462,336, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This decline followed a previous increase of Rs800 per tola on Wednesday, bringing the price to Rs462,936.

The international market also saw a decrease, with the gold rate dropping by $6 to $4,398 per ounce.

In addition to gold, the price of silver also saw a reduction, decreasing by Rs17 per tola to reach Rs7,124 per tola.

These fluctuations in precious metal prices are reflective of global market trends and can impact the purchasing power of consumers in Pakistan.

The APGJSA shared these rates, which are crucial for jewelers and consumers alike, as they directly affect the cost of jewelry and other gold-based products.

The decrease in gold prices could potentially lead to increased sales of gold-based items, as consumers may find them more affordable.

However, the slight decrease in silver prices might not significantly impact the overall market, as the change is relatively minor compared to the drop in gold prices.
