The tablet runs Android 17 with HyperOS 4 and comes with eight speakers and six microphones, enhancing its audio capabilities.

Battery life is ensured with a 12,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and 45W pogo-pin reverse charging.

Pricing starts at approximately $715 for the 8GB + 256GB model, with the 16GB + 1TB Matte Glass edition costing around $1,176.

Xiaomi has not confirmed international market release plans for the Pad 9 Pro Max.
