Trading volume on the CSE All Share index decreased to 64 million shares from 79 million in the previous session, indicating a decline in market activity.

The equity market’s turnover also fell, dropping to 2.13 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($6.5 million) from 2.68 billion rupees in the previous session.

Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 41.1 million rupees, while domestic investors were net buyers, purchasing shares worth 2.11 billion rupees.
