ISLAMABAD, Nov. 10 (Urdu Point Newspapers) – Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb assured the continuation of policy discipline during his meeting on Monday in Islamabad.
The minister held a closed-door session with Jane Marriott CMG OBE, British High Commissioner to Pakistan. The discussion centered around strengthening bilateral cooperation and sharing perspectives on regional developments that impact the economies of both countries amidst global economic challenges.
Both officials agreed upon maintaining fiscal discipline as a priority for sustaining growth and development, with emphasis on addressing energy market volatility which affects Pakistan’s economy directly. Senator Aurangzeb highlighted government efforts to stabilize the macroeconomic environment despite geopolitical tensions.
