The leadership of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) hosted an exclusive interactive session and business-to-business (B2B) meetings with a Chinese trade delegation at their regional office in Lahore. Senior Vice President Saquib Fayyaz Magoon welcomed the visiting group, emphasizing the continuous strengthening of economic and trade relations between Pakistan and China.

Fayyaz Magoon stated that direct engagement between the private sectors of both countries would play a pivotal role in promoting economic growth and mutual prosperity. He reaffirmed FPCCI’s commitment to enhancing business linkages and cooperation with Chinese counterparts.

Abdul Rahim Chughtai, Convener of Color & Chem Expo, highlighted the importance of strong private-sector collaboration for expanding industrial cooperation between Pakistan and China. He noted that joint ventures, technology transfer, and investment in key sectors such as textiles, dyes and chemicals, paints, leather, footwear, and other industries could significantly boost Pakistan’s export potential.

Wang Yu, the leader of the Chinese delegation, expressed keen interest in Pakistan's market during his interactions with participants. He conveyed the willingness of the Chinese side to promote joint investments, industrial partnerships, and long-term cooperation across various sectors.

The Chinese trade delegation comprised 58 leading manufacturing companies from diverse industries, including textiles and garments, paints and coatings, leather and leather products, detergents and chemicals, and footwear. These companies held comprehensive discussions with Pakistani industrialists and business representatives on opportunities for joint ventures, strategic partnerships, technology exchange, distribution networks, investment prospects, and sustainable trade cooperation.

Following the interactive session, B2B meetings were conducted between Pakistani and Chinese companies to explore potential collaborations in joint ventures, imports, exports, industrial cooperation, and investment. Representatives from various chambers of commerce, trade associations, industrial sectors, importers, exporters, and prominent business personalities attended the event.

The meeting underscored the mutual interest in strengthening trade relations and developing business partnerships between Pakistan and China. Both sides expressed optimism about future opportunities for collaboration and economic growth.
