The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has launched a recruitment drive for Commissioned Officers across various branches. Interested candidates will have the opportunity to apply from 22 July 2026 until 3 August 2026, with online registration available through the official PAF website at joinpaf.gov.pk.

The PAF is offering vacancies under both Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission / Special Purpose Short Service Commission (SSC/SPSSC). For those interested in PC courses, candidates can apply for 162 General Duty Pilot Course, 108 Aeronautical Engineering Course, 118 Air Defence Course, 37 Admin and Special Duties Course, and 10 Logistics Course. The SSC branches are open to applications for the Education Branch, Engineering Branch, Accounts Branch, IT Branch, and other related fields.

Eligibility criteria vary based on the course applied for. For PC courses, candidates must be unmarried and between 16 and 22 years old by 15 April 2027, with a minimum of 65% marks in F.Sc., A-Level, DAE, or an equivalent qualification. The age limit for SSC branches is generally 20 to 26 years or 20 to 29 years, depending on the branch. Candidates must also meet physical and medical standards.

The selection process begins with online registration followed by an intelligence test, academic tests in relevant subjects, initial medical examinations, and interviews at PAF Information and Selection Centres. Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the Initial Situational Judgement Battery (ISSB) assessment, a final medical examination, and a final selection by Air Headquarters.

Interested candidates are advised to visit their selected PAF Information and Selection Centre on the date mentioned on the registration slip. They should bring original CNIC or Form B, educational certificates, recent photographs, and other required documents for the initial test. The process is designed to ensure that only the most qualified individuals join the ranks of the Pakistan Air Force.

For more information, candidates can visit the official PAF website at joinpaf.gov.pk or contact their local PAF Information and Selection Centre.
