Pakistan is set to host a major robotics exhibition in Islamabad from July 22-23. The Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Expo 2026 will be held at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, showcasing advancements in autonomous technologies across various sectors.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication through its subsidiary Ignite – National Technology Fund, aims to strengthen Pakistan’s robotics ecosystem. It will feature innovations such as defence robotics, drone technologies, industrial automation, maritime autonomous systems, agritech, Physical AI, human-machine collaboration, and AI-powered decision support systems.

Local universities, research institutions, technology companies, and public-sector organizations will participate by showcasing their locally developed products, advanced prototypes, and live demonstrations. The expo will also include the RAS Innovation Challenge and RoboWars Competition, where students, engineers, and startups can present their projects to a panel of industry experts.

High-level plenary sessions are planned alongside an Immersive Experience Dome designed to showcase emerging technologies through interactive digital experiences. Policymakers, defence organizations, industry leaders, researchers, universities, startups, investors, students, and technology professionals will gather for the event.
