Pakistan Railways has announced the restoration of the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train on July 17, connecting Lahore and Pakpattan via Kasur. The train will operate daily, providing improved travel facilities for passengers along this route.

Departing from Pakpattan at 5:00 am, the train is scheduled to arrive in Lahore by 10:50 am. For the return journey, it will leave Lahore at 4:00 pm and reach Pakpattan by 9:30 pm. The service will pass through Kasur, Raiwind, and Kot Lakhpat, ensuring passengers can easily access key destinations.

The restored train will consist of five economy-class coaches and one power van, offering enhanced travel convenience for commuters and other passengers. This move is expected to boost the railway network's appeal and efficiency in serving the region’s transportation needs.

Pakistan Railways spokesperson stated that the train will provide a more comfortable journey for travelers, with improved facilities compared to previous services. The reintroduction of this iconic train aims to reconnect communities and promote local tourism along the route.

The decision to revive the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train is part of Pakistan Railways' ongoing efforts to modernize its services and meet the growing demand for reliable public transportation.
